Coalmont OHV park to Whitwell TN 72 miles exploring ride
Absolutely a perfect day to get out and ride, just Charles and myself. We started from Coalmont OHV park in Tracy City TN, and rode a bunch of the "park" trails before making our way SE, through bear pen holler to the rock overlook. This trail was very overgrown and will require some chainsawing soon as vegetation continues into springtime. From here we continued over to the 1929 mine, we did not stop as there was crowd of people being drunk and belligerent all over the place and continued back across the highway and started into "the cove" making our way back to the parking lot. We made it back about 6:30 PM with 72 miles behind us with zero issues.

We started out our day from Trails end, from there we began working our way toward Smoky junction by the way of T21, to Standing stone, down T29. We then jumped onto the gravel to T74 "shack creek". This is always a fun one with some good technical sections. From the top of 74 at the old coal tipple we took the lower tr to Gobey(not numbered) and then on the trail to brain rock overlook. This was a beautiful February day to get out in the mountains. Mandy's cave is a little ways from the actual parking lot. It is sometimes under water so be careful! Unfortunately, our ride was cut short due to a broken output gear on the X3. I apologize for the short video but there is more to come! Please give it a like, and subscribe if you enjoy this! www.performancesxsbushings.com/

From there we rode up to the radio/TV towers above wartburg and began to work our way NE toward Brimstone to the trucks. We ended at 86 miles with no issues. We will be back at it this next weekend! A little different video for everyone doing a little wrenching on the RZR. I first want to welcome Performance SXS Bushings for jumping on board as the first channel sponsor! Huge shout out to them for sending a set of bushings, a grease fitting kit and step washers. Day 5 we started from taylor park, to the gold cup mine, from there across cumberland pass, to quartz creek, across little baldy mountain, we ate lunch in Pitkin. We then headed west out of Pitkin to the double heart ranch, to the community of white pine, and then to Tomichi Pass. The weather really started to turn cold and begin snowing. We elected to go back through pitkin and up by fairview ...

Taylor Park CO Day 3 Iron Chest mine, Grizzly Lake

Lots of technical riding in this video. The gatekeeper on Grizzly lake keeps it pretty quiet, but a beautiful trail after the start. Iron chest mine will get your blood pumping quick and will be for most of the trail to the top. Not much room for error in places on this one. An awesome trail that reminds me a lot of back home. 56 miles of FUN!!
Taylor Park to Aspen CO 145 miles Day 2 in the Can Am X3
Переглядів 13811 місяців тому
I decided to take Jody's old X3 for the day since there is not a ton of challenge on this trip. We ran from Taylor park reservoir to the ski station above Aspen which is as far as you can go as Aspen no longer allows SxS in the town. Not much exciting stuff on this ride, but it is incredibly scenic. 145 miles, no issues.

Coalmont OHV park is located in Tracy City, TN. I have been there 4 times in the last 3 months and I have not saw one jeep/truck. Just SxS or ATVs only. It is a very nice, well marked area, with a nice parking area/general store. I would highly recommend checking it out.

for the camera shots, I think while carrying a pace through the trail, the one looking over your left shoulder is good. for the lower speed crawling, it is good seeing the center of the cab. I ride 4 wheelers, so I don't know the layouts of the switches, but I am assuming you are turning lockers on and off. It is neat to get that perspective. Anyways, Just watching so I can get a preview of some of the trails that I have not yet taken there. My son is 9 and we have hit all of the green trails, and I don't know that he is ready for anything more than green for now. I will be hitting up some of my friends and we will take some of the blue trails.

I've been following you for a few years now and love and appreciate the ride-alongs. What do you think about the seating position/visablility in the Can Am vs your old RZR? Better or worse? Not that much difference? I know that the Can Ams have a more sports car like ride position to them yes? I was curious about your take. I'm a big dude and it seemed that while I'm a Can Am fanboy that maybe the RZR Pro R might be more suited to me.
